I remember where I was when I first laid my hands on Ocarina Of Time, my Nan had to leave her house due to work being done and was staying in a flat and it was Christmas Day. Ever since then I've always said i'm a Zelda fan but really I meant I was an Ocarina Of Time fan as that's the only game I'd played, I did read about Majoras Mask in 2000 but never played it, more on that in a moment.
In 2007 I purchased a DS simply to play Phantom Hourglass but didn't get very far as bar Pokemon I've never really felt comfortable on a DS. When I heard about Twilight Princess I made plans to buy a Wii but as with most things I didn't get around to it until last year. Again as with Hourglass I haven't got around to finishing it yet but I have enjoyed it, the Wii controls does make it fun to play and Midna isn't as annoying as Navi, which admittedly isn't saying much. I had always wanted to broaden my horizons though with Majoras Mask and Skyward Sword both of which I'd never played or seen on sale, Majoras I can understand Skyward I can not.
Brings me to 6 days ago, 18th July 2014, I bought a N64 last year off of Facebook as I'd lost mine over the years, how you lose a big ass bulky thing like an N64 I don't know but I did, and on that fateful day of July 18th I randomly asked a local shop on Facebook that sells retro games if they ever got Majoras Mask in and blow me they had one delivered that very day, stars aligned and all that, so I ran and picked it up along with Expansion Pack needed and heard that Argos had Skyward Sword for £10, this was one of those days where I kind of believe in fate. After 14 years I finally got to play Majoras Mask!
Not done much on Majoras Mask as i've been busy but man the moon freaks me out, my sister ran out straight away when Majoras Mask spins at the screen. I am enjoying it so far though I did get annoyed as I made it down to the swamp then played the song to save the game and go back to the first day with out realizing that I'd go back to Clock Town. Started Skyward Sword as well this week and man it is a beautiful game graphic wise, and that's compared with all games not just previous Zelda titles. When I've played them in depth, whioch should be soon, I shall type a proper review of them and the shop also has a Super Nintendo in so I'll buy that and hope the Super Nintendo Zelda comes in.
